I’m literally obsessed with projects where two distinct cultural codes meet. Something truly unique is born when different worlds collide.
The couple brought me in specifically for fashion-forward portraits in a loosely editorial style, alongside the key candid moments of the day. My main focus was to bring my own artistic vision into the story and capture it fully in my signature style.
The old Italian atmosphere of Tenuta Salviati near Pisa, with its historic rooms, patterned interiors, and heavy textures, deeply inspired my indoor fashion portraits. In that setting, the bride felt incredibly relaxed and sensual. Her stunning Monique Lhuillier gown, with its delicate 3D floral lace appliqués, created the perfect contrast against the villa’s rich, patterned interiors and old-world character.
And then came the party, which is always my favorite shift of energy. Once the formalities are done, I fully lean into that raw, magnetic '90s GQ vibe.
